After The Ice Storm

We just lost one tree limb in the back yard from the ice storm yesterday. It belongs to a tree that is coming down in the spring anyways. After our ice storm yesterday, it started to rain and became very windy. We could see flashes of light and hear sounds from some various transformers last night. Every few seconds, you could hear limbs falling all around. Today it has snowed leaving just a light fluffy layer over the ice that has remained on the sidewalks, driveways, and yards. My shepherds could really use some snow shoes! They have learned the hard way to take it slowly.

Snow Ice Day In Central Ohio - Schools are Closed! (Just Click on the Pic to See a Larger View.)

Yes, we were part of that winter storm with a very wintry mix of ice and snow. We are now in a Level Two Snow Emergency. I did pick up my son from work. I mostly went 15 miles an hour but did get up to 30 once! Here are some pics of my youngest and the two German shepherds out enjoying all of this as they go crunching through the ice/snow!
