I am been working for about ten hours today on listing, designing, and bookmarking, and promoting. I need a break! So I am just going to post an older pic of Mo-Jo (our male German shepherd) that was taken when he was younger. I think he was almost a year old. It's just a favorite pic!

About That Haircut?

Here are some pictures of Landon, my youngest son. The first picture was taken last June. He did not get his hair cut all winter! He does year round back packing/camping so he says he needs it to keep his head warm! He is pictured with Mo-Jo wearing the "hot" shades!

The next picture was taken in September after Landon started the 9th grade this year. Doesn't even look like the same kid. Needless to say, his hair hasn't been cut since......saves us money!

New Earrings - Lots of Color!

Well it is freezing and snowing outside. Our schools let out one hour early today. We are expecting more snow and extreeeeeeeeeeme cold for the next couple of days. I really have to start searching for a pair of fingerless gloves!

This is what I listed today on Etsy. They are so beautiful and colorful.....really needed to see these glorious colors today!

I first photographed these using indoor studio lighting. I did not like how the colors came out. I redid the pics by the patio window using the natural light coming in. I then took the pictures into Picassa for just a bit of editing for color matching.

A beautiful pair of lever back earrings. They have Swarovski crystal glass rhinestones with a light Aurora Borealis finish on the back and are creating some very incredible color! Photographed at different angles to display this amazing palette of colors! They are brass and nickle and lead free.

Getting Over the Flu!

I have had the flu since Friday. Feeling a little bit better today. It has snowed every day and we are expecting extreme cold in the next few days. I need to go to the grocery store sometime....maybe tomorrow! My son is hoping that school will be canceled!

I am posting a picture of our German shepherd's grandfather. Our dogs both have the same mother. Mi Chief Braveheart (Bubba) passed away just recently. He did some modeling at one time for Dog Bloom Vitamins. He was an outstanding and truly loved German Shepherd. Yes, today is a snow day. Took some pic's of our German shepherds outside. They are like little kids! They keep asking to go outside?

Harlequin Opal Glass Earrings - Indoor Studio Lighting

Well, it's snowing outside today and just too wet to go outside and take pictures. I tried something new today with my older Sony digital camera. I took a picture of a white piece of paper first with my White Balance setting on Hold. My camera did not have a Manual setting. There is some blue in the background but the Harlequin opal glass stones did come out true to color.
