October Monday

Here are some updated pictures of Mo-Jo and Jazzy taken at the apple orchard on Friday. Those are Fuji apples in the background. They are delicious!

C and I were off to the apple orchard today as Landon is off to Kentucky backpacking this weekend. Here are the furry kids! They love going to the orchard as well and were very well behaved. I took lots of pictures out of the car on the way home. Hope to post them later as I edit them. My hair was a rats nest! I haven't had it tangled that bad in years! We had just a nice time picking the delicious Fuji apples. They are every one's favorite.

Hello Camera

I had to charge up the batteries for my DSLR camera because I hadn't used it in awhile! Here is Ms. Jazzy on the front porch yesterday. School starts on Wednesday.

I was playing around in Photoshop Elements again and gave Jazzy's pic a purple tint! We will see some upper 30's later this week. I guess some of that snow is going to melt!

♥Adornment♥

These earrings have black diamond colored glass stones. They are concave in the middle and nicely faceted. It looks like a swirl pattern to me in the middle. These remind me of my late grandmother's old fashioned Christmas ornaments!

German Shepherds in the Snow

One of the many times that they have gone out today to play in the snow.....just like little kids! We are expecting 1-6 more inches of snow today.

This started out as just a picture of Jazzy and was turned into a painting type picture with frame using different software programs. I played around with the different filters in Photoshop Elements. If you click on the picture, you can really see the brushstrokes when it is larger. I still haven't gotten around to reading my Photoshop for Dummies book!

Landon won't be home until late this evening from his camping trip. Then it's off to PE for him tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. When will he have time to clean his room? It like really needs it!

Sunny Monday Evening!

This is the two man tent that Landon used on his camping trip last weekend. It is in the process of being aired out! Not so very big for two over 6 foot guys!

My tomatoes have grown some in my garden since last week. We had a couple of days of not too heavy rain. I took this picture before I watered everything.

Brown Eyed Jazzy Jewel

We had a great walk today across Hoover Dam in the woods! We got to go up and down little hills.....great exercise for me! The doggies are camped out on either side of me recovering! It's another nice day today with sun and some clouds.
I feel so alive!
