I was able to list my first item on ArtFire today! I had some unusual problems and was unable to list. The head guy over there e-mailed me and gave me the number to customer service and all is well. Incredible service! Truly!

I hope to list more after the holidays. I have just been so busy. I have some more pretty Swarovski stones to play with!

After Christmas

Well Christmas day was sunny. The day after it poured. Yesterday it was in the high 60's and rained again. Today it is sunny again and probably in the 40's. The pic shows my youngest Landon with our two German shepherds on Christmas day. We recovered one of our dinning room chairs last night.....only five more to go!

Where's the Snow?

Well we have had some crazy weather so far this year. Last Sunday when we went to our family Christmas party it was 4 degrees. Today it got up to 68 degrees. We had rain after Christmas.....no snow! Thought I would post this pic of Mo-Jo taken last year before Christmas.

Coming Home - Filigree Brass and Czech Bird Button Glass Necklace

Coming Home - Filigree Brass and Czech Bird Button Glass Necklace, originally uploaded by katofmanycolors.

The focal on this beautiful necklace is a Czech, fired crystal Bird Art Glass button. I just fell in love with it! It was wrapped in filigree and then set in a pronged setting. Then, a lacy border of Swarovski light pink crystal glass beads with an aurora borealis finish was added. This particular button is back after 120 years. The button was made from a 19th century, old mold. It was hand crafted in the Czech Republic and was hand pressed and hand painted using original Czech methods that haven't changed in over two hundred years. It was finished with a filigree repousse clasp.

I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "it's me. "You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."
You sat there very quietly, then smiled. I think you knew ...in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.
The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say "goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out ... then come home to be with me.

Snow Day!

Lots of snow in central Ohio today and I mean lots! 20.4 inches from one snowstorm!!!! Mo-Jo and Jazzy the shepherds loved it. Here's a pic of Mo-Jo Man!

Blue Luster

Brass and Filigree Earrings using Czech Glass Cabs from Northern Bohemia with a gorgeous carnival luster finish! They are cradled/wrapped in filigree brass. The top stones are vintage art glass. They are metallic blue and white. Beautiful depth to stone!

Our names are Jazz and Jazzy. We are a pair of wee little Elf Owls. We are looking for a new home. Thanks to Katofmanycolors, who just couldn’t resist us, we found our way here. Jazzy and I would love to take a trip to your home. All that we require is a nice jewelry box to nest in and little trips out with you into your world! No food required….LOL! Vitrail Palette - Brass and Glass Earrings

Well the earrings I just listed already sold so I shall have to list another pair. I was able to go out yesterday and take some beautiful pictures outside. It was a beautiful gift from nature!

Vintage Keystone Shaped Glass Jewels that have an Aurora Borealis finish on the back side as set in the filigree wrap. The front of the earrings display aqua, blue, and purple colors when they dance with the light!

I really, really love these! The idea for this pair of earrings had been in my head for about a year I think. I probably looked at purchasing these beautiful beads about once a week! No two of these beads are exactly alike so each earring will be just a wee bit unique! I was finally able to make my purchase and create these beauties for you! Yes!....with fist shot up in the air!

Czech Button Glass Necklace

Finished another Czech piece! The larger stone is a Czech Button Glass Cabochon. The round stone above is gorgeous.....a beautiful Art Glass stone that is so unusual. The colors are bursting out here!

We had snow today and then rain. It is so very messy out. I am working on a dragonfly earring design that I have wanted to do forever. They should be done soon.

Saphiret Glass Earrings

I am getting ready to list these on Ebay (Katofmanycolors) where I sell my Saphiret Glass designs. These are the last of the stones exactly like this that I have....sigh. They had some minor chipping/flaws so I decided to turn the stones around and set them in a vintage brass piece. Now they are a wearable and beautiful piece of art!

Romancing The Colors

Just listed these beauties today on Etsy! Just Love Them!!!! Beautiful and colorful vintage Linde Star glass stones and pink "flawed' vintage glass stones. They have white streaks in them to imitate the look of quartz.

The pink stones are wrapped and cradled in a vintage brass filigree. Very femi and colorful!

CZECH BUTTON GLASS

I have been designing today with some Czech glass pieces that I have. Glorious colors! I am waiting for some more filigree brass to arrive so that I can continue on.....so many, many ideas in my head right now! I hope to have some sunshine tomorrow so that I can get outside to take some pictures in natural light. Please, please mother nature, won't you please cooperate with me!
