Landon during his Eagle Project managing and communicating with team members out in the field during his Clothing Drive/Eagle Project. You gooooooooooooooooo Landon!
C and I were off to the apple orchard today as Landon is off to Kentucky backpacking this weekend. Here are the furry kids! They love going to the orchard as well and were very well behaved. I took lots of pictures out of the car on the way home. Hope to post them later as I edit them. My hair was a rats nest! I haven't had it tangled that bad in years! We had just a nice time picking the delicious Fuji apples. They are every one's favorite.
Today was just one of those days....nice and cool.....colors bright and clear. Noticing some color changes on the very tips of the leaves. Here is my Mo-Jo just enjoying being outside.
One of Landon's digital photography pictures from last year (10th grade) was chosen to be in the Secondary Student Art Exhibition. The picture is displayed behind him. The picture was matted and framed and is being displayed at the Central Office of the Westerville Board of Education. He will receive his picture back in December. We were invited to a showing yesterday evening and Landon had his picture taken and received a certificate of recognition. Refreshments were provided by Cosi.
I had to charge up the batteries for my DSLR camera because I hadn't used it in awhile! Here is Ms. Jazzy on the front porch yesterday. School starts on Wednesday.
Beautiful brass earrings for pierced ears. The filigree brass is encasing some very luscious Volcano Rivoli crystal glass stones. You can see flashes of violet, fuchsia, orange, gold, green, and blue colors depending on the light/angle.
A beautiful Czech button glass (mirror back) was used as a focal for this gorgeous necklace! I see green, fuchsia, blue, and golden colors.....just depends on the light/angle. Also detailed on the front with hand painted, gold colored accents. The flower connectors look the same on the back as they do on the front.
Beautiful vintage Linde Star vitrail glass stones (silver foil on back). They are displaying blue, green, golden and pink colors depending on the light/angle! Cradled/wrapped in filigree brass.
