It snowed just a bit today....

I just love the pieces of the past from Czechoslovakia.


On the home front, it snowed just a bit today. It will be colder this week and looking at possible snow tomorrow and Wednesday.

Beautiful brass filigree earrings for pierced ears. The filigree brass is encasing some very luscious Volcano Rivoli crystal glass stones. They are very glitzy and light weight.

I was playing around in Photoshop Elements again and gave Jazzy's pic a purple tint! We will see some upper 30's later this week. I guess some of that snow is going to melt!

These earrings have black diamond colored glass stones. They are concave in the middle and nicely faceted. It looks like a swirl pattern to me in the middle. These remind me of my late grandmother's old fashioned Christmas ornaments!

Snow Day, No School

This is the air conditioner. Looks like a snow octopus on top!

It's only 18 degrees out right now, but I did go out and take a few pictures. We are expecting a low of only 9 degrees tonight. There was no school today.

German Shepherds in the Snow

One of the many times that they have gone out today to play in the snow.....just like little kids! We are expecting 1-6 more inches of snow today.

I had an interesting trip to the Post Office today. A huge jeep which was being towed by a yellow tractor with a shovel on the front turned in front of me. This slowed by speed down to about five miles an hour! The jeep had these HUGE wheels on them and there was a guy in the jeep steering. There was no cover on the jeep. I never saw anyone bounce around so much......up, down, all around! After a bit, I started noticing these strange rectangular gray things on the road. The back of the jeep had opened up and I think they were padded parts of seats that were dropping out. I honked my horn to get their attention and dodged the things? in the road. Then, I noticed the guy in the jeep frantically trying to get the attention of the one towing him. I don't think he noticed! By then, it was my time to make my turn into the Post Office. The lines were quite long so I was in there for quite a while. I also had to go to the bank so I went another way home. Hopefully, they were able to retrieve their dropped cargo!

Coming Home

I am getting back into the groove so to speak today and just listed this beautiful necklace in my shop. I am in love with Czech button glass. This bird has always been one of my favorites.

It's extremely cold today in central Ohio and snowing. Looks like it will be snowing for a few days more. It's really beautiful and the German shepherds love it.....I just don't like to drive in it as I will be in a few hours. Hard to believe it's 2010!
