Redid my Pictures for White Wedding

I wasn't happy with the pictures that I did of this necklace and earrings. White opal glass is hard to photograph. I don't like using black as the background so I used solid colors. To give an idea of this necklace on flesh tones, I used my Scarlet O'Beara as my model. My husband was right in telling me that I should never have used a white back ground. Everyone thinks that this set is so beautiful here at my house. I'm still not 100% happy with the pics but they do look better.

Harlequin Opal Glass Earrings - Indoor Studio Lighting

Well, it's snowing outside today and just too wet to go outside and take pictures. I tried something new today with my older Sony digital camera. I took a picture of a white piece of paper first with my White Balance setting on Hold. My camera did not have a Manual setting. There is some blue in the background but the Harlequin opal glass stones did come out true to color.
